For some reason I had always wanted to visit Colombia, but was always a little apprehensive about traveling alone to a place often portrayed as risky and unsafe. For this reason, I wanted to find some organized activity that would not only provide some structure and guidance, but one that would also allow me to have the flexibility to sightsee and explore this country on my own schedule, and provide opportunities to make new friends and learn even more about the language, people, and culture of Colombia. In every way, Nueva Lengua has met and exceeded those expectations.  In Medellin, one place where I studied, not only did I receive quality personal instruction in the Spanish language, but the instructors also went out of their way offer me guidance on the sites to see in Medellin, as well as the various aspects of the local culture and history of this city.Well, needless to say I do not regret my decision for a moment.  And of course, like anyone who has ever visited Medellin will tell you, I plan on returning some day.  Come! You won’t regret it.
